The Art. The Artist

Hi—and welcome to my site. I’m Kevin Town, a New York-based abstract artist and explorer of shape, form, and color. My path to art has been anything but conventional, shaped by experiences across the world and a lifelong fascination with structure and design.

For 17 years, I worked for the United Nations, communicating on some of the world’s biggest challenges and advocating for their solutions. It’s an organization I feel deeply passionate about, but along the way, I also realized that the way I process the world is highly visual.

I’ve always been drawn to design, form, and geometry—whether in the architecture of cities or the movement of color across a canvas. What began as a love of photography—capturing the rhythm, symmetry, and abstract patterns of urban landscapes—has evolved into creating large-scale contemporary paintings that explore those same ideas through a new medium.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of abstraction and intention. Through geometric art, texture, and contrast, I layer, deconstruct, and rebuild ideas—inviting curiosity and sparking different interpretations for every viewer. Driven by a love of form and color, I create work that finds its place in homes, galleries, and spaces where art inspires connection.

Now based in New York, I create full-time, embracing this ever-evolving experiment of shape, form, and color. Thanks for stopping by and exploring my work—I’d love to connect.
